Welcome to our new website. It’s so wonderful to finally have it up and running. It’s been quite a journey for us to get this site… we have had many transitions since its first launch in mid-2010 and now finally we have something that we believe reflects “us” as an organisation. We hope you like the new, simple, clean look – we’re HUGE fans!

With our new website, we hope to deliver you with all the latest information and updates about the project. We hope it to be a great resource where you can understand all the unique and collaborative inner workings of the 11Eleven Project. We want you to feel like part of the team – because in essence we are ALL working together to make this a reality. Please let us know if you feel like the website is missing anything or if you want us to cover a specific topic in our blogs…we want this to be the best website for you and in the spirit of community, your input is extremely valuable to us.

As you may know, our entire organisation is run by volunteer power and so we always have to wait to find that one special person who will invest their time and talent because they believe in our cause.  We are very fortunate to have found that in Liam Painter, who has offered his skills to get our website off the ground. Thank you Liam for jumping in and doing whatever it took to make it happen – a HUGE thank you from all of us at the 11Eleven Project. Other team members worthy of a thanks include Morgan Calton, Alex McCann and Stephanie Newman. This truly was a team effort. Well done team!

There is much happening at 11Eleven Project HQ and I sincerely look forward to filling you in on all the details over the next few weeks. More than anything I need to share my sincerest gratitude for EVERYONE who has contributed to this project.  To everyone who contributed content, comments on our Facebook, shared ideas, emails in and of course our volunteer team in 32 countries – all I can say is “Thank you, thank you, thank you!(!!!)”. Not a day goes by when I don’t feel sincerely blessed to work on this project and it’s in our community that I feel the spirit of humanity is alive. You are all my inspiration and it is YOU who provides me with the courage to keep moving forward – so thank you.
